{"id":3262,"date":"2017-11-24T07:23:22","date_gmt":"2017-11-24T07:23:22","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/incomgroup.es\/?p=3262"},"modified":"2017-11-24T13:47:14","modified_gmt":"2017-11-24T13:47:14","slug":"vestas-extendes-its-reach-into-russia","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/incomgroup.es\/en\/vestas-extendes-its-reach-into-russia\/","title":{"rendered":"Vestas Extends its Reach into the Russian Market"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>The Danish company will set up its first\u00a0blade production plant for wind turbines\u00a0in\u00a0Russia, after being signed the\u00a0agreement on September 7<sup>th<\/sup>\u00a0by Sergey Morozov, Sergey Nikolayevich Vasin,\u00a0and Tommy Rahbek Nielsen, which are the\u00a0Governor of the\u00a0Ulyanovsk region,\u00a0General director of the\u00a0Ulyanovsk Region Development Corporation and Senior Vice President of\u00a0Vestas, respectively.<\/p>\n<p>According to Mr. Nielsen, \u201c<em>wind industry has a huge potential in Russia<\/em>\u201d,\u00a0reported\u00a0the business media Delovoye Obozrenie.<\/p>\n<p>Vestas,\u00a0which is considered the largest turbine producer all over the world, will invest around\u00a0USD 24 million\u00a0(RUB 1.4 billion) in the project,\u00a0revealed\u00a0the Kommersant. With this move the Danish firms intends to\u00a0maximize the localization of components production, while obtaining the legal status of a Russian producer, giving the right to participate in public programs.<\/p>\n<p>Acording to Tommy Rhabek Nielsen, Vestas will comply with the Russian policy of reaching a 65% level of localization\u00a0or even more, provided that needed suppliers can be found on the Russian market.<\/p>\n<p>The manufacture facilities will be located in the Zavolzhskiy district of Ulyanovsk. Its\u00a0construction\u00a0is expected to\u00a0take place in the short term\u00a0and will be completed\u00a0by the middle of 2019.
